Flood Watch Continues

A flood watch remains in place for the Sydenham River watershed after heavy rain on the weekend and another 5 mm to 10 mm in the forecast. St. Clair Region Conservation Authority spokesman Girish Sankar says they're watching water levels closely after 75 mm of rain Saturday.

Sankar says if the area had received another 10 mm to 15 mm of rain on the weekend, there would have been major flooding problems. In St. Clair Twp., Pretty Rd. remains closed near Stanley Rd. due to flooding.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
