Significant Rainfall Reported In Lambton

Some Lambton farmers are dealing with flood damage. Parts of east Lambton received over 75 mm (3 in) of rain over the weekend. Lambton Federation of Agriculture Grains Committee Chair Kevin Marriott says the heaviest rains were very isolated but some fields are under water. 26.7 mm of rain was recorded at Sarnia's Chris Hadfield Airport, most of it on Saturday.

Welland was hardest hit, reporting over 87 mm of precipitation. Hamilton received almost 64 mm, St. Catharines 77 mm, and Etobicoke 62 mm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
