Grand Bend Man Faces Internet Luring Charges

A 33-year-old Grand Bend man has been charged with internet luring following a two week investigation by Lambton OPP and the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit.

Police allege a man on an internet chat site in June chatted sexually with a Sault St. Marie undercover officer posing as a child.

Detective Sgt. Paul Thompson says officers executed a search warrant at a Grand Bend residence Friday and seized four computers for forensic analysis.

He says the case highlights the importance of kids being careful on the internet.
