Chain Reaction Crash On Vidal

Minor injuries are reported in a multi-vehicle crash during Chemical Valley rush hour late Monday afternoon.

Sarnia police Constable Les Jones says at about 4pm a vehicle northbound on Vidal St. S. failed to stop in time and slammed into the back of another at a red light at St. Andrew St.

He says that caused a chain reaction crash involving a total of five vehicles.

One woman was treated at Bluewater Health for minor injuries and released.

A 21-year-old Sarnia man is charged with careless driving.

Monday's crash caused lane restrictions on northbound Vidal St. while police conducted their investigation.
