Busy Mackinac Weekend In The Point

The 91st annual Port Huron to Mackinac sailboat race gets underway Saturday.

Tourism Sarnia Lambton's Vicky Praill says Mackinac weekend attracts a lot of out-of-town visitors to the parade of yachts under the Bluewater Bridges.

She says the Point Edward Optimists' Bridge Bash tonight and Saturday night will make it the busiest weekend of the summer on the Riverfront.

Also on this weekend, the 5th annual Antique and Classic Boat Show at the Sarnia Bay Marina and the Town of Oil Springs is celebrating its 150th birthday Saturday with an entire day of festivities.
