Giving the Gift of Life

Canadian Blood Services celebrated the success of its new mobile blood donor clinic following closure of the permanent clinic this past May.

At the Dante Club Wednesday, City of Sarnia Councillor Mike Kelch recognized local blood donor Carl Hall for making his 150th blood donation.

At nearly 75 years old, Hall says he will keep giving as long as he has a doctor's certificate.

Hall is an avid blood donor and hopes to inspire his friends, family, and new donors to consider giving blood at the next mobile market.

It takes place August 22 at the Temple Baptist Church.
