Former Firefighter Dies In Tragic Accident

Lambton OPP, fire and EMS responded to a two storey home in Brooke-Alvinston Sunday afternoon after a man lost his balance and fell off the roof.

Huron OPP Constable Jamie Stanley says it happened on Walnut St. just before 2pm.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene.

Former Brooke-Alvinston firefighter 31-year-old Kyle White was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Lambton OPP is ruling it as an "accidental death."

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
