Domestic Dispute Injures Infant

A 35 year-old Sarnia male is in custody following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend early Tuesday morning.

Sarnia Police Services Constable Les Jones says officers were called to a home in the southeast portion of the city.

He says Criminal Branch detectives are investigating an argument that left a three month old child injured and transported to Bluewater Health.

The child has since been moved to London Health Sciences with non-life threatening injuries.

The accused male faces charges including assault causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and utter threats to cause death.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
