Large Vessel Arrives Today

A very large Waste Heat Exchanger is expected to arrive today at the Government Docks from South Korea.

Human Resources Manager Heather Orton says the $3.5-million piece of equipment is part of Styrolutions planned 2016 turn around.

The exchanger, which is approximately 90 ft long and 14 ft in diameter, will be placed onto a trailer and moved from the government docks to Styrolutions site on Tashmoo Ave. by Friday.

It will begin on Seaway Rd. then down Exmouth St. to Front St. onto Johnson St. and then turning onto Christina St. South.

The waste heat exchanger will then head down St. Andrews St. to Scott Rd, then onto Churchill towards Vidal St. onto Huron St. ending at Tashmoo Ave.

Sarnia police will assist in the escort.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
