Lakeshore Rd. Speed Limit To Be Reviewed

The public is going to be asked for its opinion on lowering the speed limit from 70 km/h to 50 km/h along Lakeshore Rd. from Mandaumin to Telfer Rd.

Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley says the roadway falls under Lambton County Council's jurisdiction.

The county's engineering staff says the current limit of 70 km/h is suitable but some residents say given the pedestrian traffic to commercial areas and near the Howard Watson Nature Trail, the limit should be reduced.
