Warwick Mayor Says Turbine Approval Process Is Flawed

Warwick Township Mayor Todd Case reiterated his municipality's wind turbine stance to Energy Ministry officials at the recent AMO meeting, telling them they are not a willing host to wind energy projects.

He also bent their ear about the entire approval process.

There are currently less than a dozen turbines in Warwick but both Suncor and NextEra Energy are proposing major projects in parts of the township.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
