New Director Of Finance

Long time Sarnia resident, Lisa Armstrong, has been appointed the new Director of Finance for the City of Sarnia.

She fills a position left vacant after Brian McKay left in May.

Armstrong says she really likes the city's motto, "people serving people".

Armstrong previously held a senior management role with Ontario Power Generation, but has also worked with Woodbridge Foam in Corunna, CAMI Automotive, and the Royal Bank.

Armstrong officially takes over the position September 1st.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
