CN Dragging Its Heels On Front St. Property

Saying CN Rail has been dragging its heels on approving the remediation of a small tract of land on Front St., Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley has fired of a letter to the Chief Financial Officer of the rail company.

Suncor has agreed to remove that underground tanks at the site of a former gas station and donate the land to the city but first needs approval on the plan because the land is on a CN right-of-way.

To date, the city has had no response from the company.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
