Golf Championship Benefiting Local Economy

A major Canadian golf championship being played at Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and Spa in Camlachie is pumping tens of thousands of dollars into the local economy this week. Over 150 golfers from across Canada are competing at the Canadian Women's Mid-Amateur and Senior Championship until Friday. Tourism Sarnia Lambton's Vicky Praill says they've supplied them with a "swag bag" outlining attractions locally. New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
