Fire at NOVA Corunna

A Chemical Valley alert was issued Tuesday morning as a result of a fire at NOVA Chemical's Corunna plant. At approximately 11:50am, a small fire broke out in the utilities unit. Spokeswoman Tracy Johnson says smoke was visible to those in the area. [audio mp3="http://blackburnnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Tracy-1.mp3"][/audio] Johnson adds the Ministry of Environment has been notified. No injuries were reported. The all clear was issued at 12:46.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
