Aboriginal Youth Entrepreneurship Program

A first of two meetings is being held today for the Aboriginal Youth Entrepreneurship Program.

Business Development Facilitator Dougall Meloney says it's an introduction to the "Start Your Own Business" program and offers free training and support to 19 to 29-year-olds.

Participants can also apply for up to $3,000 in grant money to help start their business.

Today's meeting gets underway from 2pm-4pm at the Goodwill Career Centre off London Rd. The next meeting is on September 18.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
