Masked Men Sought In Home Invasion

Two masked men are being sought in an early morning home invasion in the 200-block of Indian Rd.

Sarnia police say a resident was awakened by two suspects who kicked open the front door of his home around 5am last Friday, demanding money.

Constable Les Jones says one suspect was armed with what was believed to be a handgun, the other was carrying a baseball bat.

He says the suspects ransacked the home before leaving with a Dell laptop computer and several hundred dollars in cash.

The homeowner was not injured in the incident.

One suspect is described as white, about 5'9", heavy build with medium length blonde hair. He was wearing blue jeans, white shoes and a red t-shirt a the time and a red mask.

The other male suspect is described as white, thin build and about 5'4" tall. He was dressed in black shorts, t-shirt and shoes and a black mask with white dots.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
