New Program Could Earn Millions For Sarnia

The city of Sarnia could take in $1.7-million in annual sponsorship revenue through a proposed Sponsorship and Advertising Policy.

Parks and Rec Director Beth Gignac says councillors will get a first look at a detailed report from The Partnership Group at a meeting on Monday.

The report also suggests sponsorship revenue be used to fund the sponsored program and that the sponsor be a good fit with the audience.

A draft policy and plan will be brought to council for approval in October.
