World Famous Paintings Arrive In Downtown Sarnia

Paintings from major Canadian and European artists have arrived at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery for the largest art exhibition in Sarnia-Lambton's history.

Curator Lisa Daniels says they've been closed for about four weeks now as preparations continue to host the Masterworks from Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

She says says this morning's move went smoothly, but there is still a lot to be done before they open in three weeks.

The exhibit opens at 4pm on October 2.

Daniels says the opening will be part of first Friday festivities.

It's also the third anniversary of the downtown gallery.
