Day of Caring

Over 200 employees of 28 local companies have the day off work Tuesday to do chores for others.

It's the United Way of Sarnia Lambton's "Day of Caring", the official kick off to the 2015 fund raising campaign.

Spokesperson Pamela Bodkin says the former Polysar Manager came up with the idea 22 years ago to help the community. It initially involved just Polysar workers.

Assistance will also be provided to seniors and those with limitations living in their own homes.
