Summer Music Festival Given Approval

Sarnia council has given the go ahead for organizers to continue planning the Revelree Music Festival inside Canatara Park.

The one-night ticketed event, planned for July 23, 2016, estimates attendance of 17,000 people within a fenced-in field area. Director of Parks and Recreation Beth Gignac says they aren't aware yet of what music or audience will be targeted. She says the natural park setting will provide an exciting music experience for people in Sarnia

Gignac says it could be an exciting opportunity for local musicians. She expects festival organizers will now begin planning and will release more information such as music line-up as it becomes available.
