UPDATE: Bus Driver Charged In Crash

A 53-year-old female school bus driver is facing charges in a collision with a compact car Monday morning.

The crash happened around 7:15am at the intersection of Kimball Rd. and Oil Springs Line in St. Clair Twp.

OPP say the bus driver is charged with making an unsafe turn under the Highway Traffic Act.

None of the four passengers aboard the bus were injured. All three people in the car were sent to hospital with minor injuries.

The school bus suffered minor damage while the compact car suffered extensive damage. The roadway was closed for about three hours during the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
