Industrial Accident Injures Woman

Petrolia and North Enniskillen firefighters responded to an workplace accident at the Enniskillen Pepper Plant on LaSalle Line shortly after 4pm Thursday. The Labour Ministry's William Lin says they're investigating. [audio mp3="http://blackburnnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/William-Lin-1.mp3"][/audio] A manager at the site says a female worker's foot became entangled in a bin feed station. She says firefighters freed the woman and she was then transported to Bluewater Health with unknown injuries and later released. Lambton OPP and EMS also responded.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
