UPDATED: Serious Injuries In Early Morning Rollover

A 21-year old Sarnia man has suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after an early morning rollover on Kimball Rd.

Deputy Fire Chief Steve Bicum says Lambton OPP, EMS, and St. Clair Township firefighters responded around 2:30am.

He says the driver of a car lost control on a small curve, left the road and struck a tree. He says the vehicle then bounced back onto the road on its roof.

The driver was first transported to Bluewater Health, then transferred to London hospital. His passenger, a 22-year old Sarnia man, suffered minor injuries in the rollover.

Kimball Rd. was closed for several hours while the collision was being investigated. Lambton OPP continue to investigate and charges are pending.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
