The 33-year-old man was identified from video surveillance images released earlier this month by police in an effort to identify twelve suspects stealing from the charitable organization.
He's charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.
Sarnia Police are still hoping to identify seven other people.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
