Man Arrested For Theft From Truck

Sarnia Police have arrested a 25-year-old Sarnia man for allegedly breaking into a parked truck.

Police say a man in the Felix St. area left his house Tuesday morning and was about to get into his truck when he noticed someone inside rummaging through the glove box.

With help from a neighbour, the suspect was held until poilice arrived.

He is charged with theft under $5000, possession of break and enter tools, and breach of probation.

Police are asking anyone living in the area to check their vehicles for any missing items.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
