Manleys Celebrates Milestone

Manleys Basics is celebrating 115 years of business in Sarnia-Lambton. It first opened in 1900 as a small bookstore and newsstand on Lochiel St. and now sells primarily office furniture, stationary and computer supplies. Co-owner Carolyn Leaver Luciani says the business has been able to adapt over the years which has kept them in business for over a century. She says in a world of big box stores, there is still room for small businesses. Leaver Luciani says the move to Point Edward has been great for them, having their storefront and warehouse on the same site. She says you aren't in business for 115 years without great customers.
