Local Candidates To Debate Healthcare

Healthcare is the topic of discussion at a Sarnia-Lambton all candidates meeting Wednesday evening.

The event is co-sponsored by the Sarnia-Lambton Health Coalition and provincial nurses' associations.

Coalition spokesperson Shirley Roebuck says the federal government is responsible for the transfer of funds to the provinces and for issues like pharmacare.

The health coalition also has a panel discussion featuring candidates in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex Riding set for Thursday October 1 from 7pm to 9pm at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.
