Pickup Truck Crash Causes Overnight Outage

A single vehicle crash caused an overnight power outage in part of north Sarnia early Thanksgiving Monday.

Reports indicate a pickup truck knocked down a hydro pole before crashing into a house.

The crash disrupted power on Lakeshore Rd. and all side streets between Modeland Rd. and Murphy Rd.

Bluewater Power crews worked through the night to replace the pole and the utility reported all power had been restored by around 10am.

Police had not yet released details about the crash.
