Preparing For Flu Season

Flu shot clinics start today for high risk Lambton County residents.

Lambton Public Health Supervisor Erin Courtney says a clinic will be held Friday from 9am to 4pm at the Pt. Edward facility.

Courtney says high risk individuals include the elderly, infants and children under 5-years-old, pregnant women and health care workers.

Starting October 19, seasonal flu vaccine will be available to all Lambton residents.

Flu clinics across the county are posted online at www.lambtonhealth.on.ca

Flu shots will also be available at 30 pharmacies across Sarnia-Lambton.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
