Mobile App To Help Local Business

The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce and Sarnia Sting are teaming up to provide a mobile app that rewards consumers for shopping local.

MyTown Rewards, developed by MUV-U Corp., gives customers points they can redeem at participating businesses locally.

MUV-U Corp. Founder and CEO Tom Ondrejicka says over 40 local businesses are already on board.

He says the rewards program helps small business compete with larger chains.

Ondrejicka says a recognizable brand like the Sarnia Sting will encourage more businesses to participate.

MUV-U will be at Thursday night's Sting game for the official launch of the MyTown Rewards app.

You can download the app by searching MUV-U at the app store.
