Electronics, Jewellery Stolen From Funeral Home

Sarnia police are searching for suspects after electronic equipment and jewellery were taken in a break and enter at the Gilpin Funeral Home.

Police say the business on Errol Rd. W. was entered sometime between 4pm Tuesday and 10am Wednesday.

Items reported stolen include a 42'' Samsung TV, Mac computer, DVD player, projector and three wireless microphones.

Several pieces of jewellery were also taken from the funeral home including gold and silver rings, bracelets, chains and pendants.

Constable Les Jones says some of the pendants are described as a gold cross, butterfly, an angel, a heart, motorcycle and tear drop.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sarnia police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
