Library Review to Improve Services

Three of Sarnia-Lambton's libraries could soon be under review to help improve community services. It's recommended Sarnia council approve $30,000 at its meeting Monday for a consultant's review to provide information on user statistics and the physical needs of the community. The cost would be split evenly between the city and the County of Lambton.

Mayor Mike Bradley says there are currently space restrictions at Lambton Mall Rd. Library.

Council is also being asked to provide an additional $25,000 to install a centralized accessible washroom at Sarnia Library. Council had already allocated $77,000, including a federal grant of $32,000.
