Rainfall Warning For Sarnia-Lambton Ended

Environment Canada ended the rainfall warning for Sarnia-Lambton early Wednesday afternoon.

Rainfall amounts of 25 mm (1 in) or more fell across the area as a result of an intense fall storm fuelled in part by remnants of hurricane Patricia.

Strong winds and showers are forecast to continue into Thursday.

Sarnia Public Works crews were very busy dealing with heavy ponding on area roads, catch basins clogged with falling leaves and several water main breaks.
