A 32-year-old Sarnia man is facing several charges after a short crime spree Thursday afternoon.
City police investigated a robbery at a variety store in the 100-block of North Russell St. around 1pm.
The clerk told police the suspect claimed to have a knife and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Shortly after, officers responded to a break and enter at a home on Kathleen Ave. where a television was taken.
Police arrested a man leaving a home in the area around 2pm. Officers recovered the money from the robbery and the TV during the execution of a search warrant at that same home.
Edmond Donald Mullen is charged with robbery, two counts of possession of stolen property, break and enter, two counts of breaching probation and possession of a controlled substance.
