LAWSS Gets $300K Hydro Rebate

The Lambton Area Water Supply System (LAWSS) is being recognized by Bluewater Power for its ongoing efforts to reduce energy consumption.

Upgrades to the system include new lighting which saves 54,000 kWh annually, a variable speed drive pump which results in a reduction of 491,000 kWh per year, and HVAC work.

Bluewater Power VP of Corporate Services Alex Palimaka says as a result the utility presented LAWSS with a rebate cheque of just over $320,000.
