Teddy Bear Toss Kickoff

This year marks the 18th annual Sarnia Sting-Lambton Ford Teddy Bear Toss.

The event helps several children's agencies in the region fill their Christmas wish lists.

Spokesperson Rob Ravensberg says it's quite the sight to see when the bears are tossed onto the ice at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre.

Over 17 years close to 48,000 stuffed toys have been collected for area children in need.

It's hoped 3,500 teddy bears will be collected during the Sarnia Sting/Ottawa 67's game December 6th.
