Another November Temperature Record Falls

A new record high temperature was set in Sarnia for the second straight day Wednesday. The mercury at Chris Hadfield Airport hit 24 C (75 F) at 3pm, far surpassing the previous mark for November 4 of 21 C set in 2008. A 28-year-old record was smashed Tuesday with the temperature at the airport peaking at 24 C. The standing record for November 5 of 20.6 C in 1978 could also fall. Environment Canada's forecast calls for a high of 21 C in Sarnia Thursday. Cooler, more seasonal temperatures are expected for the weekend with a high of 9 C (48 F) Saturday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
