Subway Employees Robbed At Gunpoint (Video)

Sarnia police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery Sunday evening.

Just before 6:30pm, police say a man with a silver handgun demanded money from the till at the Subway restaurant in the 1000 block of Confederation St.

Constable Les Jones says the employees were shaken but thankfully not injured.

Jones says the suspect is described as short, between 5'2" to 5'6" tall, heavy set, wearing dark shoes, black track pants with two thin white stripes down the leg, a grey Aeropostle hoodie with white lettering, a dark coloured vest and a camouflage face mask.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sarnia police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
