Film Festival A Success

The first ever South Western International Film Festival in downtown Sarnia was a success!

Executive Director and Corunna native Ravi Srinivasan says their biggest event was the opening night gala with the screening of "Into the Forest" by Patricia Rozema.

He says they're already planning for a second festival next year.

Srinivasan says they hope to get the word out earlier next year and hopefully have a couple sold-out shows.

The weekend-long event featured film screenings, workshops, and Q&A opportunities with filmmakers visiting the area.
