Winning 6/49 Ticket Sold In Sarnia

Someone in Sarnia-Lambton could be $5-million richer.

The winning Lotto 6/49 ticket in Wednesday night's draw was sold in Sarnia.

In fact, it was winning night across Ontario. The winning ENCORE ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Ottawa and the guaranteed $1-million prize ticket was sold in the Owen Sound area.

In September, a winning Lotto Max ticket worth nearly $340,000 was sold in Sarnia.

Three Sarnia residents claimed the prize.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
