Sarnia Police have recovered a knife believed to have been used in an abduction and robbery incident November 10.
Police issued a public plea last week in hopes of finding the black, 12' stainless steel knife. At the time, it was believed to be in the area Martha St. between Proctor St. and Mitton St.
The Criminal Investigation Branch arrested a Sarnia man late last Tuesday night at a residence in the 300-block of Mitton St.
Police say the accused became upset earlier in the evening with comments made by a male victim.
It's alleged the victim was threatened with a knife, punched numerous times, and told he could not leave the residence.
Police say the accused then took the victim's money and forced him to come to various addresses in the city.
At one point the man's cellphone was thrown out the window of the moving car they were in.
