Former Burger King To Be Demolished

The former Burger King on London Rd. in Sarnia will be demolished next week to make way for redevelopment of the four acre property.

Wick's Construction has been hired to bring down the building either Monday or Tuesday after environmental assessments were conducted by Bright's Grove's Enspec Inc.

Real Estate Agent Doug Lasenby has been in talks with eight different companies and says there could be three or four new buildings constructed at the site.

Lasenby says some fast food chains have shown interest in locating there. The building has been vacant since late October 2014.

He says a list of new businesses is expected to be finalized by late January with construction expected to begin in March or April.
