Fatal Crash In Dawn-Euphemia

Lambton OPP officers are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in Dawn-Euphemia Township early Friday afternoon.

Police say around 1pm, an SUV traveling south on Marthaville Rd. collided with a Dodge pick-up truck that was traveling east on Aberfeldy Line.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Members of the OPP, EMS, Dawn-Euphemia Fire Department and Hydro One responded to the crash scene.

The intersection of Marthaville Rd. and Aberfeldy Line was expected to be closed until around 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
