Preparing Cars For Winter

With snow in the forecast this weekend, the OPP wants to make sure drivers are prepared for the changing road conditions.

Constable Chris Doupe recommends putting an emergency kit in your car with flairs, a flashlight, a candle, winter clothes and water or snack bars in case you get stranded.

Doupe says its important to be prepared before hitting the road.

Doupe also recommends keeping your fuel tank is at least half full, getting winter tires for your vehicle and making sure its mechanically sound.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
