VIDEO: Suspect Wanted In Poppy Box Thefts

Sarnia police has released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection to the theft of two Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund collection boxes.

Police say a poppy box was taken from the information desk at the Lambton Inn November 6. The same suspect is believed to have taken a box from the Lambton Mall Rd. Tim Hortons at 3:30am the following day.

The suspect was wearing a red baseball cap, dark jacket, and blue jeans and carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sarnia Police or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
