Careless Driving Charge In Collision

Three people, including an infant, were treated at Bluewater Health for non-life threatening injuries following a two vehicle collision mid-afternoon yesterday in St. Clair Township.

The OPP says a small SUV and a minivan collided in the area of Plank Rd. and Telfer Rd. at 2:45pm.

The SUV ended up on its roof.

The driver of the minivan, a 46-year-old man from Sarnia, has been charged with careless driving.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
