Suspect Arrested In Poppy Box Thefts

Sarnia police have arrested a man in connection with the theft of a poppy fund collection box earlier this month.

The Royal Canadian Legion collection box was taken from a Tim Hortons on Lambton Mall Rd. on November 7.

Police say 56-year-old John Bruce Bradley was arrested at the same restaurant around 4am Saturday, November 28.

He's been charged with theft under $5,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
