New LCBO Store Opens in Grand Bend

Several dignitaries and local residents were on hand for the opening of the newly-expanded LCBO store at its new location in Grand Bend Tuesday morning.

Lambton Shores Mayor Bill Weber calls it a recognition by the Province that the Grand Bend community is growing both in permanent residents and in tourism traffic.

Weber adds the new store is larger and carries a better selection of Ontario wines and craft beers.

He also points out the new location on the main street and east of highway 21 is close to the Moto-Plex just down the road as well as easy to get at and close to a grocery store. Weber adds the new store is good for residents and visitors now but should also attract more people to the area in the future.
