Annual K106.3 Food Drive

Blackburn Radio's K106.3 took over The Home Depot Friday morning for its annual Food Drive.

It's hoped over 10,000 lbs of food will be collected for the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

Executive Director Myles Vanni says they're particularly busy this time of year.

Vanni says they're in particular need of peanut butter, cereal, canned fruit, pasta and side dishes. He says they usually go through just over 40,000 lbs of food a month.

Non perishable food items can still be dropped off at Home Depot and the Inn of the Good Shepherd until Monday, December 7.
